The free app stores everything on your own machine, in a database file next to the app. Teams, players, games and stats never leave that laptop unless you connect it to Courtside Cloud or export them yourself. The app does not phone home, does not carry analytics and works with the network cable out.
If you fill in the contact form we keep what you typed, plus the time and the IP address the request came from, so we can reply to you and so we can tell a real enquiry from a bot. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
To get a download link we ask for your name, your email, and whether you are using Courtside personally, for a club or for a league. We email a confirmation link first, so nothing is sent anywhere until you click it and prove the address is yours.
We keep that, plus which platform you asked for, when you confirmed, and each time you use your link to fetch a file. That is how we know which builds people actually use, and how we reach you if a build turns out to be broken. Those are service emails about your own download, and you get them whether or not you tick the box.
The marketing tick box is separate, off by default, and only ever set by you. Tick it and you get occasional product news. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, there is one at the bottom of your downloads page, and asking us by email works just as well. We do not sell, rent or share the list.
A cloud account holds the league data you put into it: teams, players, fixtures, results and stats. Player profiles on a public league site are public by design, so only put in what you are happy for the league to see. Export your season at any time, and ask us to delete the account and we will delete it.
Email us and say so. We will remove your details and confirm when it is done.
